The Perfect T-shirt
It’s an elusive search. We hope it ends here. Our T-shirts have been named as some of the best by the likes of GQ, The Wall Street Journal, Monocle, and more. We practice direct trade and sell directly to our customers – which means better wages for our partners and better prices for you. With your purchases, we’re also building schools for the nearly half a million children without access to education in Egypt.
Men’s Essential Crew
Our Business Model
Have you ever dug into how your clothes were made? We did. It’s the reason we started Kotn. We’re committed to producing fairly priced, great quality essentials from farm to hanger, all made from authentic Egyptian cotton. Using direct trade practices, we source our raw ingredients straight from the farmers, without the use of traditional middlemen. That means fair wages for them, better prices for you, and total transparency for all.
In September 2017, we opened our first school in the Nile Delta, using money collected from every single sale from our first two years of business. The school is responsible for educating 32 girls and 1 boy, who prior to this, did not have access to education. We believe that by working to improve literacy rates in the cotton growing regions of Egypt, we can look to the future, and empower these children to help take their family businesses into the new generation.
Women’s Essential Crew
One Brick, One School, One Village at a Time.
We didn’t stop at just one school. Over Black Friday weekend, we donated all of the money we made towards funding a second school in Egypt, which is currently under construction in the village of Rasheed. There are nearly half a million children in the Nile Delta without access to education, and we're working one school at a time to change that.
